Dear Friends,
As we travel through these "last days", our eyes have been opened to just how close
the return of Jesus is. We have felt the call to spread the Gospel through music and ministering the Word, wherever the doors
are opened for us, and we are honored to do so.
We began ministering in a local prison about 6 years ago, and have branched out from there
to minister in many different settings and arenas, from churches to motorcycle rallies. More recently we have begun to feel
the call to return to the prisons.
In His Word, Jesus tells us to "Go into all the world and preach the Gospel..."
There are those out there, however, that are no longer "in the world". They no longer have the freedom
to attend church services are hear about Jesus. These are the prisoners, behind bars, for whatever reason, who are given up
on. Many times, when someone is locked up, they are forgotten about. Often no one even attempts to reach these lost souls.
The hopelessness, despair and rejection is so huge! These are the ones we are being called to reach. (Matthew 25:31-46
".......I was in prison and you came to Me.")
We know, from experience, that the lives of these individuals can be turned around and changed
forever. We began ministering in our local prison with about 20 to 25 in attendance and soon grew to having two services with
90 to 100 in each service. These guys are hungry and they are searching for something real. We want to help them, in their
search, to find Jesus.
Most of the time it is easy to find laborers who don't mind feeding the hungry, or giving water
to the thirsty, clothing those who need clothes, or visiting those who are sick. But when it comes to visiting those in prison,
the laborers are few. For one thing, access to the prisoners is limited. Though most often the desire to reach them is not
there. This is what we have been called to do, and we humbly accept this oppurtunity and privilage.
It is our goal to minister in every prison in the state of Texas, as well as continue to minister
wherever else God leads. We would like to invite you to partner with us in this endeavor. The expense of travel alone, is
these days is tremendous. On top of that, there is also the expense of keeping the equipment we use to minister in good working
condition. Since many of the people we will be ministering to, do not have jobs or any type of income, we can only depend
on outside help for these financial needs. If you feel God encouraging you
